2. Komodo Island
Komodo is an island located in Komodo District, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. Komodo Island is known as a native habitat of Komodo animals. This area is also part of Komodo Island National Park which is managed by the central government. This island is located in the east part of Sumbawa Island which is separated by the Sape Strait.
On Komodo Island, there are Komodo Dragons (Varanus komodoensis) which are the largest lizard in the world. Komodo is believed to be the remains of ancient dinosaur animals that are still alive. The length of the Komodo dragon can reach three meters and can weigh up to 140 kg.

Mount Kelimutu is a volcano located in Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. The precise location of this mountain is at Pemo Village, Kelimutu District, Ende Regency. This mountain has three crater lakes at its peak. This lake is known as the Three Colors Lake because it has three different colors which are red, blue and white. 4. Jayawijaya Peak or Carstensz Pyramid
Jayawijaya is a peak which is part of Sudirman Barisan mountains in Papua Province, Indonesia. This peak has an altitude of 4,884 meters above sea level and around the peak there is the Carstensz glacier, the only tropical glacier in Indonesia, which is likely to soon disappear due to global warming. Jayawijaya is the highest mountain to climb in Indonesia and one of the seven peaks of the world.
5. Prambanan Temple
Prambanan Temple is located within the Prambanan Tourism Park, approximately 17 km to the east of Yogyakarta, precisely in Prambanan Village, Bokoharjo District. The location is only about 100 meters from the Yogya – Solo highway, so it is not difficult to find it. This temple stand at an altitude of 154 meters above sea level. Part of Prambanan areas are included in the Sleman Regency while others are in the Klaten area.
Prambanan Temple, also known as the Roro Jonggrang Temple, is the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia built in the 9th century AD. This temple is dedicated to Trimurti, the three main Hindu deities which are Brahma – the creator, Vishnu – the protector and Shiva – the destroyer.
Based on Siwagrha inscriptions the original name of this temple complex is Siwagrha (Sanskrit meaning is ‘Shiva House’), and indeed, in the main room of this temple resides three meters height Shiva Mahadewa statue which shows that Lord Shiva is preferred.

The Krakatau National Park is located in the Sunda Strait between the western tip of Java Island and the southern tip of Sumatra Island with a total area of around 2,405 Ha. Krakatau is a volcano island and becomes much larger island at Sumatra and Java. The Krakatau Mountain was erupted in 1883, and became the largest eruption in recent time killing more than 36 thousand people.
This area has attract many scientists because of the function of the island as a natural laboratory to study science, geography, volcanology and biology. 10. Toba Lake
Toba lake is located in North Sumatra Province, Indonesia, that has a length of 100 km with a width of 30 Km. Toba is the largest lake in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. In the middle of the lake there is an island called the Samosir Island.
