Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Ende Airport - Moni

Arrival at Maumere or Ende Airport. Welcomed by our guide then direct transfer to Moni.

On the way, you will stop at the traditional village of Saga (if arriving at Ende).

At night you can take a walk in the small village of Moni.

Accomodation : Eco Lodge in Moni

Note : The rooms are non AC in this cool hill climate. 

Day 2 : Moni - Bajawa +/- 150 km

Wake-up early in the morning for departure to Kelimutu Volcano.

A short walk (30 minutes) will take you to the point of view to wait for the sunrise. Kelimutu means mountain of spirits. Known for its famous three colored lakes: Turquoise, Brown and Black. It is the dissolved minerals that give the different colors. Breakfast after returning to the hotel.

Continue through beautiful scenery via Ende to Bajawa with stops at Soekarno’s House in Ende, at Pengga Jawa’s green stone beach, beautiful views of Ebulobo Volcano and before Bajawa a stop at the traditional Wogo village.

Accommodation : Guest house or hotel in Bajawa.

Day 3 : Bajawa - Ruteng 133 km
In the morning,  you will visit the traditional village of Bena. 
In addition to being still in contact, with the megalithic stones to the old houses, this village has a beautiful location with views of Mount Inerie. 
In the afternoon departure for Ruteng. Along the way, visit Rana Mese Lake and Ruteng Puu.

Day 4 : Ruteng - Labuan Bajo 137 km
During the day, take the road to Labuan Bajo.
On the way, visit the famous cobweb rice fields in Cacar. 
Free afternoon.
Accommodation : 3* hotel in Labuan Bajo.
Day 5: Rinca, Pink Beach & Komodo Island
Our goal today is to see the Komodo Dragon. This largest living lizard lives on three islands, Rinca, Padar & Komodo Islands, part of West Flores. Its length can go up to three meters with a weight of up to 90 kilos. Wake up early in the morning. Breakfast at the hotel transfer to the port. 
At 6:00 am departure for Komodo Island. This trip over the tropical blue waters and hundreds of small islands will take about four hours. During our visit to Komodo Island we take a walk (one hour) with a local ranger in search of Komodo Dragons. During your visit, we can also see wild buffaloes, deer, pigs and various species of tropical birds such as Cockatoos.
Lunch will be served at Pink Beach and here you can discover of the splendid underwater world of these rich waters (snorkels and fins are provided). 
Continue to Rinca. 
Led by a local guard one hour of gentle trekking through the forest and savannah. Komodo Dragons are often seen on the way. From the highest point of this hike a beautiful panorama of the surrounding island. The return to Labuan Bajo will take about 1.5 hours. 
Upon arrival at the port, transfer to your hotel in Labuan Bajo for overnight.

Day 6: Labuan Bajo - Denpasar
Breakfast at the hotel. At leisure until you transfer to the airport for the next destination.
