Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Jogja!
Transfer from Airport Yogya/Solo, to your hotel for check in.
Please note that the hotel is not included in this program – ask our travel specialist to add it to your program.
Day 2: Royal Village Tour (6 Hours)
This day of travel to Java begins with the visit of Kraton Yogyakarta. This palace is a large complex that was meticulously built to represent the Javanese cosmos. This is a unique and beautiful example of traditional Javanese architecture. Afterwards, you will visit the beautiful and mysterious water tower Taman Sari and the Batik House where you will discover the technique of printing on fabric. Then you will drive to Kota Gede. This neighborhood is a labyrinth of narrow streets, lined with tiny traditional goldsmith shops and mosaic houses that belonged to the aristocrats and royal merchants. Kota Gede is an ideal place for a leisurely stroll. Back to your hotel at the end of the day.
Day 3: Borobudur Tour – Prambanan Tour (7 Hours)
Jogja – Borobudur : 42 km (1.5 hours) – Boro – Prambanan 55 km (1.5 hours)
Discover the history and mystery of Borobudur Temple, one of the world’s wonder great architectural masterpieces. We will also visit Pawon Temple, which is in the middle of a typical village and Mendut Temple with its magnificent statue of the Buddha Sakyamuni. Next, visit Prambanan Temple to enjoy Java’s most beautiful Hindu shrine of the 9th century. Then, we will drive through paddy fields and sugar cane plantations to the two–story Buddhist Temple at Plaosan.
Back to your hotel at the end of the visits.
Day 4: Jogja Airport/Train Station
Transfer out to the Airport/Train Station.
