Full Day Bedugul, Jatiluwih Rice Terace & Tanah Lot Sunset Tour
Depart from hotel at 09.00 am to visit Taman Ayun Temple.
Built in 1634 by a King of the Mengwi dynasty, It is set on the land which is surrounded by the big fish pond and look like a drift on the water. The entire complex was designed to symbolize the mythological home of the gods, Mount Meru, floating in the sea of eternity.
Continue to visit Botanical Garden, one of the biggest botanical garden in the country, here you can see many kind of trees, small plantation and a small orchids park, after the tour proceed to Lake Beratan, just located 10 minutes from the gardens. This lake is very important for the farmers of Bali as it is the main water spring for the farming irrigation system of the Island. On the Lake you will find the special Ulun Danu Temple a temple for Dewi Danu (The Gods of the Lake) that control all the water irrigation, all the traditional farming & irrigation organization (Subak).
Lunch will be taken at A local restaurant (optional).
Continue to visit Jatiluwih rice terrace for a soft trekking, then to Tanah Lot Temple, this temple very unique as it stands on a hard rock around 30 meters off the shore. This is one of the 9 main temples in Bali, and for the Balinese Hindus, it is believed as the temple of Rudra Gods, base on its direction located on the south west of the island. Here you also can see some holy snake around some small cave in front of the temple. This temple is famous with it’s fantastic panoramic sunset on evenings.
Then you will be escorted back to your hotel, arrive around 18.00
