Full Day Tour - Bangli
This an authentic program located at Undisan Village in Bangli.
The program starts at 08.30 am from your hotel. On the way to Bangli visit Gianyar traditional market.
Arrive in the Undisan Village, greetings and welcome by a local Balinese guide who will escort you around the village. The journey starts by visiting a local elementary school that will give you an overlook of the Indonesian basic education system, then continue your walk to the inner side of the village through small village road and local houses.
After 20 minutes, arrive in the middle of the rice fields and discover the Balinese traditional farmers. Here you can join and learn about ancient farming traditions.
The first step is plowing the rice field by traditional plower that is pulled by a pair of cows/buffalo (this traditional process nowadays is replace by tractor machines).
Continue by planting the rice seeds and it is very funny because this activity needs a balancing movement.
Take a rest for while and enjoy a fresh young coconut behind a small hut in the rice field. Then continue by a soft one hour soft trekking among the rice field, small valley and small plantation will show a limited number of local wild fruits. Finally finish the trekking at a village temple called Pura Dalem (Temple of Siva God) and enjoy a Balinese lunch serve in a special restaurant with rice field view.
In the afternoon continue the visit to a local Balinese house to join a typical Balinese activities such as making offering and short Balinese music initiation (Gamelan or Rindik), to see the complete Balinese housing compound.
Continue your last visit by visiting the silver and gold smith workers producing many kind of jewelry for Balinese dancer, Balinese bride and the bridegroom.
In the afternoon, visit Kehen Temple, one of the most historical temple in Bali. Return to your hotel around 18.00
