Bali Calendar of Event 2024

With the advent of Bali Calendar of Event 2024, this beautiful island is all set to deliver unforgettable experiences for its visitors. From colorful cultural festivals to challenging sporting events, every month in 2024 will be filled with a variety of enticing events.


Throughout 2024, 58 events will be held in Bali, consisting of 48 cultural arts festivals, four sports events and six MICE events. All of these events will take place for a full year and are spread across nine regencies / cities throughout Bali.

  • Asia Pacific Tourism, Hospitality Summit & Digital Brand Award 2024 January 11 – 12, 2024
    The congress will discuss three main issues: technology in tourism, tourism investment, and tourism sustainability. Technology and investment must be synergized with nature to preserve nature as one of the most important assets in tourism.



  • APAO 2024 39th Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Congress February 22-25, 2024
    The 39th Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Congress was held in conjunction with the 49th Indonesian Ophthalmologist’s Day.



  • Pokemon Adventure, March 2 – 3, 2024
    An entertainment event that features many exciting activities and attractions with Pokemon as the main theme.
  • Mekotek, March 9, 2024
    One of the traditions of rejecting bad luck from Munggu Village, Mengwi Badung with the aim of asking for safety. This tradition is held every 210 days on Kuningan day.
  • Ogoh-ogoh parade in Denpasar City, March 10, 2024
    This is a parade of giant puppets that are marched around the village or a certain area the night before Nyepi Day. The best place to watch Ogoh-ogoh is at Catur Muka intersection, Denpasar.

  • Omed-omedan March 12, 2024
    Omed-omedan is a traditional event where we can learn about a sense of togetherness and close kinship. This event is usually held the day after the Nyepi Day celebration.



  • Semarapura Festival April 28 – May 1
    The Semarapura Festival is held to commemorate the Puputan Klungkung war which was the culmination of the Klungkung Kingdom’s war against Dutch colonial occupation in 1908 to defend the independence right. This festival is an annual event where each event will feature various traditional art performances typical of Klungkung Regency.

  • Bali Spirit Festival, May 1 – 5, 2024
    An annual international festival of yoga, music and dance. The festival embodies Balinese Hinduism – Tri Hita Karana to live in harmony with environment, spiritual, social and nature through yoga, dance, healing world music.
  • Bali Rockin Blues Festival, May 5 – 6, 2024
    Bali Rockin Blues Festival is an event presenting musical performances that combine Rock and Blues music genres. Location at Mertasari Beach, Sanur, Denpasar Bali.
  • Batur Trail Run (BTR) Ultra, May 11-12, 2024
    The first cross-country running event on Mount Batur, Kintamani which was created thanks to the collaboration between the Bali trail running community, Bali Trail Running and the Bangli Regency Government.

  • Tenganan Pegringsingan Culture Festival, June 5 – 6, 2024

  • Bhineka Pantai Jerman Culture Festival
    An event that includes cultural arts performances such as the bapang barong and mekendang tunggal festivals, legong keraton dance, spearfishing competition, MSME bazaar, exhibition of residual plastic products, and innovative female kecak dance performances.
  • Jatiluwih Festival
    A festival that combines traditional culture and arts. Art, music, fine arts, creativity products, culinary and interesting things in Jatiluwih, Tabanan.
  • Makepung Kapolres Jembrana Cup
    A festival that aims to preserve the cultural tradition of buffalo racing which is a cultural heritage tradition that only exists in Jembrana.
  • Bali Jagadhita Culture Week
    Empowerment and development program for Micro, Small Medium Enterprise (MSMEs), tourism and investment in Bali, initiated by the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia Bali Province. Bali Jagadhita aims to increase the capacity of MSMEs, expand MSME access to domestic and global markets, and others. The event features MSME exhibitions, competitions, and art and music performances.



  • Penglipuran Village Festival, July 7-9, 2024
    Penglipuran Village Festival is a promotional event, cultural preservation, nature conservation, and provides opportunities for Micro, Small Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) to innovate and be creative in order to improve welfare.
  • Lovina Festival
    Lovina Festival emphasizes progress in the arts and culture sector and the creative economy sector and is also celebrated as a momentum for the revival of tourism in Buleleng Regency. The festival will be held for three days featuring art and cultural performances as well as Buleleng culinary specialties.
  • Nusa Penida Kite Festival
    Nusa Penida Kite Festival is an activity organized to revive and stimulate tourism on Nusa Penida Island and as a forum for kite hobbyists to show their creativity.
  • Bali Jani Festival
    An annual arts festival at the Denpasar Cultural Park (Art Center) initiated by the Bali Provincial Government’s Culture Office as a forum for the activities and creativity of artists in exploring, preserving and developing the values of modern Balinese cultural arts.
  • Gianyar Kite Festival
    The festival aims to provide a place for kite lovers to channel their talents and creativity. The festival will take place at Masceti Beach in Gianyar.

  • PICA Fest
    PICA Fest is Paradise Island Clothing Association (PICA) Festival is the biggest clothing festival in Bali. In this festival there are not only 100 clothing booths but there is a music concert with 100 performers from local and national Bali, local communities and there are also 100 culinary booths that offer Balinese cuisine.
  • Mas Village Festival

  • Ubud Writers and Reader Festival, October 23-27, 2024

  • Makepung Lampit
    The Makepung Lampit Festival is held in addition to introducing Jembrana tourism and maintaining the traditional values that we have inherited from our ancestors and also maintaining the population of buffaloes and Balinese cows in Jembrana. Unlike other mekepung, makepung lampit is held in a rice field and muddy arena. Location of Subak Kaliakah Jembrana.
